2009年4月20-21日，我院院长张秀兰教授受邀参加在菲律宾举行的亚欧发展会议（ASEM Development Conference: Towards Sustainable Development），并做了题为"Economic Downturn as Defining Moment in Enhancing Social Cohesion" 的主题演讲。
会议背景：
At the 7th ASEM Summit on 24-25 October 2008 in Beijing the ASEM Leaders adopted the Beijing Declaration on Sustainable Development and invited ASEM partners to conduct more activities for the implementation of this Declaration. The European Commission and the Government of the Philippines have invited ASEM member countries to discuss current challenges of sustainable development and promote better understanding and increased cooperation.
