Pregnant women and puerperas are the targets of our basic public health service. It has been found that the prevalence of depression during pregnancy is about 15% -20%. Prenatal depression does not only have a negative impact on the postnatal health, but also affects the growth of the baby. In addition to the physiological hormone factor, negative automatic thoughts which may affect the mood of pregnant women is also an extremely important factor. Cognitive measures such as changing the negative thoughts of pregnant women can relieve prenatal depression. The purpose of this study is to find out the prenatal depression and negative automatic thoughts of pregnant women in rural China and provide a theoretical basis for relieving prenatal depression by cognitive measures.
