About the Talk

Agricultural injury research, which is a new research field in China, focuses on the population of agricultural laborers and their health issues. This talk introduces exploratory studies in the field of agricultural injury research in China, and offers reflections on the occupational health issues of agricultural laborers.

 

About the Speaker

Dr. Yao,  is the deputy director of the Office of Epidemiology in the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention. She was a medical officer in WHO Western Pacific Region. Her research interests include the application of epidemiological methods in the field of disease control and prevention, specialized in infectious disease epidemiology, injury epidemiology and policy evaluation of disease control and prevention.
