The 3rd SSDPP research review meeting for 2011 fall semester wrapped up

The 3^rd SSDPP research review meeting for 2011 fall semester wrapped up on 16 December 2011. The two research teams that attended the meeting were the Social Policy research team and Public Health research team.

Prof. Han Huawei, representing the Social Policy team, introduced his recent research on the evaluation of the rural subsistence allowance policy. Prof. Liang Xiaoyun, representing the Public Health team, shared her latest research on the impact of the new rural cooperative medical system on rural resident’s health and their medical expenses.

The faculty members who were present at the meeting responded to their presentations with their own research experience. In particular, Prof. Tian Donghua shared his observation when he visited Singapore and Malaysia on their health system.
