Xiaoyun Liang is an associate professor in School of Social Development and Public Policy, Beijing Normal University. She graduated from Capital Medical University, China in 2007, and got PhD degree in epidemiology. She carried out post-doc research in Karolinska Institute from 2007 to 2008. Her research fields lie in health policy and epidemiology of non-communicable disease, and she presided and participated in some research projects from Ministry of Health, Ministry of Technology, European Commission, AusAID and Healthcare Reform Office of the State Council regarding primary health care, healthcare provider behavior, evaluation of unnecessary health care, healthcare reform and community intervention of chronic disease. She published some articles in Chinese and English, and five of them has been included in SCI/SSCI. She has taught the courses “Epidemiology” and “Basic Course for Quantitative study” to graduates in Beijing Normal University.
