A proactive lecturer and researcher with learning and academic experiences in four countries. Held nine research grants including 7 international collaborative research projects. Published two books, one a single authored monograph on development, gender and participation the other an edited volume on contemporary development of China. Published 24 academic articles, reports and book chapters. Eight years of experience teaching courses at postgraduate level in both English and Chinese. Supervised over 50 MA theses and four PhD dissertations.
