On Friday May 3rd the International Students of SSDPP gathered in the early morning to set off to climb Xiangshan, a mountain in North-East Beijing, with the purpose of class bonding and general enjoyment. As spring has finally reached Beijing and the weather has been wonderful, the event was a great success. Almost all international students managed to attend (despite the early departure) and the faculty was also represented by Karl Johnson. After some healthy exercise the day was concluded with a lovely lunch at the base of the mountain, and a sleepy bus ride back.
