On May 26, the "CFP Capacity Building Workshop" was held in Rm. 2026 of the North Main Building of SSDPP. Based on his work experience over the past few years, 2011 CFP Student Ji Yan delivered a speech titled "Management As a Social Function - Introduction to the Management Thoughts of Peter Drucker, Father of Management" on the event.

Starting with two works of Mr. Peter FDrucker: "The End of Economic Man" and "Managing the Nonprofit Organization: Principles and Practices", Ji Yan guided the participating 2011 and 2012 CFP students to start a lively discussion on what management philosophy NPO should uphold. Who is Drucker? Why is he remembered? What is management? Why does NPO need management? Who is responsible for the management? What is the basis for NPO management authority? Why is it legal? Through a series of brainstorming interactions, the participants gradually made clear NPO management problems and social development path and had a deeper understanding of the origin of objective management, i.e. Management By Objectives and Self-control.
