On August 30, 2013, Ford Foundation’s former chief delegate John Fitzgerald, current chief delegate Gao Qianqian and her assistant Niu Caixia paid a visit to SSDPP. SSDPP Dean Professor Zhang Xiulan, Deputy Dean Professor Xu Yuebin, Professor Li Haiyan, Hua Weilian, Wang Xinsong and Xiao Suowei attended the meeting.

In the visit, the Ford Foundation delegation had an , in-depth understanding of various aspects of SSDPP, reviewed and summarized the previous cooperative projects between the two and talked about the direction of cooperation in the future.
