Recently, Beijing has witnessed strong snowfall and a sudden drop in temperature. In order to reduce the impact of rainy and snowy weather on the lives of our teachers and students, and to promote the education of socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era for Youth League members and young people of Beijing Normal University, the SSDPP Committee of the Communist Youth League and the Volunteer Service Team of SSDPP have issued a proposal to actively participate in snow and ice clearing volunteer service activities to all Youth League members and young people at SSDPP by giving full play to their advantages in organization and mobilization.

On December 13th, 14th and 15th, SSDPP's volunteers quickly took action and devoted into snow and ice removal and traffic guidance together with other volunteers and relevant staff of Beijing Normal University. The volunteers braved the harsh cold, either sweeping snow with brooms or shoveling snow with shovels, doing their best to clear the snow and ice on the roads. They worked together to remove obstacles and warmly reminded passersby to "be careful of slippery roads", "walk slowly, and pay attention to safety". Despite the cold weather, people felt very warm because of their love.

We do not feel cold in this winter because of love. Through our joint efforts, the snow on the road has been gradually cleared, ensuring the travel safety of our teachers and students. Thanks to all volunteers for their perseverance in the wind and snow! I hope more young people will actively participate in volunteer services of snow and ice removal, carry forward the volunteer spirit of "dedication, friendship, mutual assistance and progress", and jointly ensure the travel safety of our teachers and students to fully demonstrate the responsibility and accountability of young people at SSDPP in the new era!
